“We are facing so many problems in life. Even if there is no real problem, man has the habit of creating some problem. We don't know how to live at all without problems. Let us understand one truth. We don't know where we came from and where or when we will go. We know the date of our birth, we also know that we have come with a return ticket; only we don't know the date of departure. The period between these two dates is called 'life'. We only require to live this life without any problems as far as possible, living and dying peacefully.
When we have to visit a new place, we try to find out the route and the most convenient method of travel. Similarly, in this journey of life we should know the best method of living. Unfortunately, everyone may not be able to know the correct method of living and that is why great leaders have come and shown us the way. It is in the names of these leaders the religions have started. Two basic principles in all religions are worship of god and living virtuously to maintain harmony in society. Worship of God includes an understanding of the law of nature and living in tune with that. For maintaining harmony in society one should live without creating pain to others. Different religions started at different times and according to the stage of evolution at that time and place their teachings appear to be different. While the leaders in whose name the religions were started had clear vision about God, subsequent leaders were not so enlightened and started giving their own interpretations. Over centuries, due to lack of true knowledge of God and due to power politics the truth about God has been lost. Ideally, in a true religion there is no place for egotism, the six temperaments, the five great sins, inequality, violence, poverty and ill-treatment of women. If such a true religion exists all of us can accept it and follow it. But do we have such a religion today? Our World Order of Holistic Unity is such a religion. We should not even call it a religion; in fact, it is a set of principles and a way of living to bring about equality among all of us. In Tamil it is called a “Samayam”, 'Sama' meaning 'Equal' and 'Iyam' stands for 'Ism'. This is common to all humanity and it is eminently suitable to every one of us to practice, the only God in this religion is the almighty, divine Absolute Space. It preaches love, compassion and harmony in all human relationships. The philosophy of magnetism is the basic tenet. Being harmonious with all living beings doing our work in tune with nature and to lead a moral, dutiful and charitable life is the essence of this new way of living.
In essence, not giving pain to anyone physically or mentally and being ready to help to the extent possible are the two basic principles of the World Order of Holistic Unity.
Let us assume that all the people in the world start living like this, the world would be peaceful, happy and prosperous. Some may say that it would be like Heaven. Here we should be careful. Hell and Heaven are two words which have created lot of troubles just like “God” has been put behind the curtains and so many stories have been created. So has been the case with Hell and Heaven. What we should understand is that every action has an appropriate result as per the perfect system of cause and effect. Therefore, all our actions should be such that they are in harmony with nature and are beneficial to members of the society.
We should understand that the all-pervading and benevolent consciousness is working everywhere. A few examples will make it clear. (1) When a male child is born, two or three years later a female child is produced by nature, as the counterpart. (2) We all know that the food we eat gets digested. But who does this? We are not consciously doing it. Thus within us even without our knowledge there is a consciousness which does it so perfectly. This is happening every day in every single living organism. (3) Even before living beings are born the all-conscious nature has provided all the means for food and shelter. That is why it is called 'providence'.
We are not able to appreciate this because we are not able to see the consciousness physically. But can we ignore this? The clapping of our hands may be our own action, but the production of sound is the work of nature. Thus, everywhere we are governed by this all pervading law of nature.
To lead a harmonious life we should start within our families. Instead of fighting, tolerance, adjustment and sacrifice should be our watch words. If we practice this for one week we can find the difference. This would percolate to the whole world in due course"
