Swamiji, even when we follow a spiritual path, we often are overwhelmed by the problems in our lives. Why is this? Can it be changed?

  Swamiji's Answer : Sanchitha Karma, Prarabdha Karma and Akamya Karma are the reasons for the problems and miseries in human life. Sanchitha Karma is what is inherited by us, the imprints passed on through the generations, from the times of our forebears. They often are the reason for many of our suffering, even though we may not have performed any evil deeds during our own lifetimes. Imprints of Sanchitha Karma can be eradicated through expiation, superimposition and dissolution, through the practice of meditation
