Swamiji : One should try to go to 'Thuriyatheeth', become one with the Universal Being. To achieve this, one must practice detachment from all materials during the life-time; otherwise such thought will not come at the time of death. Such detachment will help the mind to expand easily. Unless there is detachment, the mind cannot expand and remain absorbed with the Universal Being.

Question : At the time of death, what is the best thought to keep in mind, so as not to disturb any individual or society after our own death, by attachment to people or individuals? Should we be praying for the welfare of all living beings, or try to go to "Thuriyatheeth (Samadhi)" state of meditation?
